Pull Street Fighter

An all new season of content means all new potential here in Street Fighter 5, and we dare say no one has been exploring and unearthing what the game's roster is newly capable of quite like Desk.

The creative combo artist has been very hard at work since Season 5 dropped last week, and produced a handful of videos showcasing things like the new V-Shift mechanic as well as individual characters, but his latest is a compilation of 16 different roster members all culminating with a record-setting 124-hit masterpiece.

Street Fighter 5 has a '99 hit rule' that is essentially a safeguard against any infinite combos that may have slipped through the cracks. The safeguard simple sees to it that a character gets knocked down on the 100th hit of any combo, but Desk figured out a way to exploit it for even longer sequences.

Using newcomer Dan Hibiki's corner infinite, Desk has figured out how to eclipse his former record of 123 hits and pull off a legitimate, unassisted 124 hit monstrosity. The game's hit count display isn't programmed to go any further than '99,' so the content creator actually has to add his own counter for this one.

The four minutes of build up to the big ender are most impressive as well as we get to see what fighters like F.A.N.G, Chun-Li, Necalli, and Sakura can do with their latest buffs and new routes.

On top of all of this, the rocking musical track that accompanies the showcase was also created by Desk. The video's beats tend to bounce right along with the track adding all the more to the hype of the presentation.
